2061: Odyssey Three

This is, as you can probably guess, the third book in the Space Odyssey series. I think this was probably my least favourite one given that I thought the story had been dragged on long enough, however I was unsatisfied with the ending of 2010, so I read on.

This book is a bit everywhere as it develops the story further into various connecting parts. I think I got a bit confused about everything that was going on and was sort of uninterested in where it was going. There is the advancement of civilisation with humans now colonising Ganymede and the Europan population has advanced, although there are some intricacies concerning their future existence.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this book, the story becomes too convoluted and this makes it somewhat unenjoyable. Just read the first one and enjoy it in all its glory.
