Philip D Kick

Philip D Kick, an alias of Om Unit, comes with a nice selection of high tempo hitters. Pretty much every track goes hard. Drips, the opener, sets the tone with dub bass and breakbeat and the rest keeps pace. All the tracks have a different vibe but they all fit together in a way I can’t describe. I would highly recommend this album, it’s incredibly good and he describes it as ‘where jungle meets footwork meets techno’.

I played Clouds a while back on 006: Higher but I’ve only just recently listened to the whole thing which is more than I was expecting, such a good producer.
