Una fruta tropical originaria de la región amazónica, similar al lichí, pero con una cáscara cubierta de espinas duras y afiladas. El sabor de su pulpa es muy cotizado por su dulzura y frescura, pero acceder a ella sin lastimarse es complicado.

En los rituales de adultez, se cosecha suficiente fruta para preparar vino, el cual se comparte con toda la comunidad. Una vez que la cáscara se seca y endurece, se utiliza como collar, simbolizando la adultez y la superación de desafíos.

La aña, por lo tanto, no solo representa una experiencia culinaria única, sino también un importante rito de paso en las culturas amazónicas.

The induction of a state of fluid, unrestrained dancing through strictly percussive music. The absence of melody prevents the mind from latching onto any emotional patterns or narratives, and allows the frequencies of the drums to be felt precisely as they interact with the body. The body pops, contorts, and unfolds in a state of spontaneous, uninhibited physical expression. After entering a state of ritmosis it is common for the body to feel light and supple, and the mind to feel relieved and open.

Drums are the cure.
