I discovered this album from this mix by Charlotte Rocchi in which she played ‘I Want To Make Up’. It’s such a good selection across the mix so I’d recommend a listen. The album is rich in soul, jazz and R&B and is a beautiful listen.

It was released in 2009 by Numero Group after being unearthed from the defunct Stax Records in which 24-Carat Black were one of the final acts to release on the label before it went under in 1975. The background of the group is interesting as well as the lead singer Dale Warren, so yeah have a listen.
