Healing Cycles

Koyil

I discovered this album from Sean La’Brooy’s Butter Sessions mix. He played Shustari which is one of my favourite tracks off the album.

Healing Cycles was released at the beginning of 2020 on Moscow label DiG Records. It’s a sensitive journey across a world that is inaccessible by any other means. It’s a search for something, though what for I’m not sure. The light in front of you guides the way and suddenly you look back and there’s no traces of where you’ve been. Surrounded by ritualistic tones you have no choice but to venture deeper. Hypnotised, you become something more than yourself, if healing is what you need then you’ve come to the right place.

In the age of total globalization, we travel every day with information, which we get in the moment of waking up, shopping, walking or staying in bed. We are so used to it, that we take it for granted. Although we are looking for self-identification, we don’t really have an idea who we are, everything is chaos, and we are in a constant search.
