Susu Laroche is a multidisciplinary artist from London and this EP was released on Primordial Void. It’s very experimental and eerie and has these hypnotising industrial tones across the tracks. According to Bandcamp Laroche focuses heavily on shadowy mysticism and surrealist imagery not only in her sonic work but also in her visual art. This is very prominent throughout and describes the sound well. The vocals are also very trance like making it more dystopic and haunting.
It’s so good and clearly contains a lot of different sounds and influences, channelling her background and descent. There’s so much to enjoy about this project so I would highly recommend, and I also recommend checking out the Bandcamp description if you’re interested in more details about Laroche and the EP.
