Konoyo

Tim Hecker

Konoyo is an album that was released at the end of September 2018 and is one of my favourite Tim Hecker releases.

From the outset it completely changes your mood, taking you away from wherever you currently are. It’s a hauntingly beautiful and exploratory experience, plunging you straight into the depths of somewhere so vast it’s difficult to comprehend.

There’s a certain numbness to it that is oddly satisfying. The tension removes itself despite fluctuating pressures. Each track extends itself out making you sit through the layers of isolation.

In the end there is always progression.
