Proc Fiskal

This is the first time I’ve listened to Proc Fiskal and it’s quite a good introduction. It was released on Hyperdub at the end of March 2021 and it contains a whole range of sounds. It’s described as ‘genre collisions’ and ‘amalgamating unusual melody-driven twinkling, caffeinated grime sound with the rhythms and sounds of other genres’.

You can definitely hear the grime influence across the tracks as it pushes forward that sort of sound into more experimental and radiant realms, especially in one of my favourite tracks off the record, Baguettes. I’ll definitely be checking more of his work out in the future, I’d highly recommend.
