La Fe

Rico! was released towards the end of April 2021 on xpq? and at the time of writing is the latest release on the label. La Fe is a duo made up of Daniel Rincon, who you may know from NAP or Ambien Baby, and Michael Red.

It’s an interesting array of ritualistic rhythms which sway back and forth in a sort of hypnotic way. The more you listen the more you become entranced. Each track comes with a different groove but they feel as though they fit together like a wonky jigsaw.

Alta is probably my favourite track with its swaying latin influenced beat, however all the tracks are worth checking out. I’d highly recommend. xpq? also have some sick releases, one of which I covered last week. So yeah, have a little listen.
