Throat Cuts

I covered Premis’ Mutual EP last month and since then I’ve been keeping an eye out for new releases. Throat Cuts was self-released back at the start of February and is a very sick release. It’s hard to describe the sounds, they have a similar vibe to Mala where the beats are quite skatty and high tempo. I mean skatty probably isn’t the best word but I feel you might know what I mean if you’ve listened to this release, or maybe it’s just the wrong word altogether.

I would highly recommend if you want to ‘rub salt into your club deprived wounds’. Some of my favourites are Kanassa and Wharf, BiG tunes.
