Stones Taro

This is such a good four-track record from Stones Taro. I’ve not listened to any of his music before but I think I saw Stenny play ‘Again’ and it made me instantly want to listen to more.

It was released towards the end of August 2021 on Cheeky Music Group and fuses together elements of jungle, garage, breakbeat and more to create something that has an edge on other music in this realm.

Each of the tracks feel tight and refined with the vocal samples chopped up in a way that builds intrigue and progression. It’s such a good dynamic record and perfect for those late night dwellings.
